I got this Yamaha Pacifica 1221M in 1994. I traded in a
Billy Sheehan Bass for it. I was not in love with the tone
of that bass and I needed a guitar that could do alot of
different things for the band I was in at the time 911. This
guitar has a very thin neck that I love and a bunch of
great sounds powered by a group of nice Dimarzio
pickups. Yamaha had contracted the neck builds to
Warmoth who did great work on these guitar necks. In
fact I was really in love with a particular  Pacifica 921
that I use to borrow from the store for gigs and I never
had the money to buy it. They are extremely hard to get
now....Figures!!
My 1992 Yamaha RBX 800 Bass. I bought this bass
because it simply it kicks ass!! I was looking for a quality
bass for recording and I believe I got this at Music Alley
as a C stock bass while working there. To this day this
bass holds tune like no other bass or guitar I own.  It is
simply the best bass I have ever owned.
This Peavey Wolfgang is a 1997 first year PAF model. I
found this used in a local Huntsville store in 2004. There
were a lot of these made in Black the first year so it's not
very rare, but it felt really good to me and was my
second Wolfgang. It's actually the color of the guitar that
Eddie Van Halen used in the video for Human's Being
from the movie soundtrack from Twister. I always
thought that guitar looked awesome in the video and
the sound was a bit more old school Van Halen, so
when I saw this one I had to have it!
This Peavey Wolfgang is a 1997 first year Patent Applied
For Quilt Top Model. I found this used in a Sam Ash Store
in Nashville Tennessee around 2006. These guitars were
extremely rare in the 1st year. The quilt tops were not
meeting the expectations of  Eddie Van Halen and they
decided to change to flame maple tops after the first year
run. There were around 300 units in each color produced
that first year. Each Wolfgang I have feels pretty different,
odd considering each one was carved out on a CNC
machine just the same as the one before. But since they
are used, the all were broken in different. This one has a
special mojo that you have to feel. I was also able to get
this one under it's market value because no one knew
the history at Sam Ash!
This Peavey Wolfgang is a 1998 Wolfgang Special
with a super cool Fair Warning Graphic Painted on it.
This was painted by Shadow Mckee out of South
Florida and sold on Ebay. When I saw it, like another
guitar I recently got.. I knew I was destin to own it.
Fair Warning's influence is the sole reason I play
guitar to this day. I saw Eddie Van Halen on TV on
Don Kirschner's Rock Concert TV show in 1983. The
song I saw played live by Van Halen that late night
on TV changed my life. The live video for Unchained
from the Fair Warning Album was my first exposure
to Eddie Van Halen. So this guitar is what I'm all
about.

I like that I can take it out and play it and it's discreet.
I really dig when people are close watching me play
and they see the image on the front of the guitar and
they really get it!! They start pumping their fists or
give me the universal rock sign!! HAHA!! That is how I
felt when I saw the video....ROCK!!!! YEAH BABY!!!
This guitar on top of being my current favorite, plays
like a dream and the notes exploded off the
fretboard, only fitting if you ask me!
This Peavey Wolfgang is a 2002 Standard Green
Flame Maple Top Guitar. This was actually purchased
right before Eddie stopped working with Peavey. So
this one is a last year production model. It is in mint
condition to this day. I have played it a few times live
and it's incredible. But since I have my other 3, I see
no need to beat this one up. It maybe a collectors
item one day as is the case of the Eddie Van Halen
Ernie Ball Guitars at this point. This one is a beauty
and was my first guitar purchase in a number of
years after I took a hiatus from playing live. Since I
started playing live again I got the fever and I bought
a whole bunch more guitars!
